Alhumdullilah for a year filled with growth and health .

⭐️We traveled more locally throughout Africa
⭐️Adopted two sweet fur babies who stole our hearts
⭐️Played cricket and cricket and more cricket and then watched some too, had some padel and football thrown in a bit
⭐️Saw extended family for the first time in years (don't worry, my sister, 2025 has your name on it)
⭐️Had so so so much change in the workplace, but looking forward to exciting things to come.

I pray for a healthy 2025 filled with a little bit more balance in my social life, a whole lot of work on my fitness 😪😪, a trip to see my sister and Insha'Allah more happy family memories ❤️

We need this rain desperately but coupled with school (and family) holidays, I'm sure you've thought more then once "What can we do". Here's a list of 12 indoor activities to keep you all going 😉
1. @scibono_discovery_centre - always our favourite across all ages. From science experiments to STEM activities, the planetarium and wall climbing, it's fun for all.
2. @museumofillusions_joburg - will leave you questioning all things , with interactive displays to keep everyone engaged, it's sure to be a winner
3. @randburg_raceway - there are more then one go Karting options in Gauteng but this is our favourite by far, with friendly customer service and karts of all sizes.
4. @totalninjasr - nothing like a bit of friendly competition and exercise to get those endorphins going !
5. @montecasino_za arcade and bowling alley (there is also laser tag for fun) - a fun way to spend time playing together
6. @bouncesouthafrica - specifically the clip and climb for something a bit different, compete against each other or just test your bravery
7. @createredbarn - a little bit of clay painting is always a good idea and I find clay cafe has the widest range of items to paint
8. @thegoldentee - If your missing your golf game with all the rain, head to @morningglen for some indoor fun, you can play all the major courses on this indoor simulator
9. @droublepta in @centurionmall - fun for the whole family, from soft play to trampolines, wall climbing and indoor soccer there's something for everyone, even a halaal restaurant if you prefer to sit back and watch
10. Ditshong Natural History Museum - engaging and an affordable exploration for all ages. Visit this gem to see some real dinosaur fossils, including Megladon jaws
11. @moovemotionfitnessclub_sa has the most amazing kids club (for adults too) in their @melrosearch branch. We like to go play some ping pong, pool and let the kids play around.
12. @artjamming_ma - from sensory play to good old art techniques it's always a vibe and gun to get into your creative zone

This festive season, why not spread the holiday cheer to our feathered friends with some handmade bird seed ornaments, we're turning all of our outdoor trees into decorated christmas trees 😀
Using @westermans_za bird seed, I crafted these adorable ornaments to add a festive touch to our garden while providing a treat for the local wildlife. To make our garden even more inviting, I stocked up on suet balls and bird feeders, creating the perfect setup to attract more visitors, and we have been having a blast sitting and trying to identify all the different species.

Westermans bird seed is available online and at most local pet stores, so you can easily grab some for your own garden.
